Testimonials “I'm not one to write a review, But this is a really nice product and wanted everyone to know, I used this in my basement on a 3" metal pole. You must first bend each piece so that it wraps around the pole nicely. I used liquid nail to hold it to the pipe, (do not get glue on wood if you are going to stain), and used painters tape to hold in place till glue was dry, I would not use tape again as the glue from tape stuck to the pole. Maybe plastic tie strips next time. added top and bottom trim sold at Lowes also. Very easy to do, and looks great. will be using again to wrap PVC pipe for speaker stands.

Ordered two of the MDF style PoleWraps, one for a 3" pole and one for a 4" pole. I was impressed that a rep from PoleWrap called to ensure that I didn't make an error on my order because I wanted one of each size instead of two of the same size. I was glad that there is still someone out there that was paying attention instead of just filling orders. The product was easy to work with. I followed the enclosed instructions and viewed the installation video on HomeDepot's webpage and installing was a snap! I primered both pole wraps and applied a finish coat later that day. The pole bases and caps fit well. I'm very satisfied with the finished look and would recommend the product.

The pictures online for the product don't do it justice once painted. Our ugly lally column has now become an "architectural" design element now that it looks like an antiqued column. Even simple white paint makes it look so much better. I'm going to buy a couple more to hide hot water pipes for the radiators. It was really easy to install and even my contractor was surprised how good it looked.

If you're not leaning toward spending a great deal of money for [column covers], this is the way to go. I was hesitant at first because I wanted a more traditional look. However, it would have required them to be custom made because odd lengths. This particular pole wrap provides the flexibility for the user to make simple modifications to fit a multitude of lengths.
